Museum of London

Following on from the successful re-design of the Learning Online project, the Museum of London asked Getfrank to look at creating the first in a series of content modules (or microsite) for the new site, the first theme being the Romans invasion, occupation and settlement of Britain in the early 1st century AD.

Solution

As the first of several such content modules, Getfrank were keen to ensure that the design and build of the Digging up the Romans microsite was as flexible as possible, to allow the recycling of templates for future content features. There was also an ambition to use as much of the Museum's extensive collection of imagery as possible to really bring the subject to life for its intended audience.
