Virgin Blue

EMI approached Getfrank to produce an online identity for Blue, and to create a site to better reflect the band, their music and their fans.

Getfrank's response was to create a deeply dynamic Flash site, using the idea of "Blue TV" to provide fans with mutli-channel access to band biogs, videos, track listings, tour news, trivia and music development.

Solution

On Blue TV, the home page functions as a video wall, with multiple Blue "channels" featuring different idents and visual styles. In addition, Getfrank created a screensaver and enhanced interactivity for the band’s multiple-Platinum award-winning debut album "All Rise".

Outcome

The Blue site is Virgin’s biggest single web destination, with over 300,000 unique users visiting per month.
